Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions the product actually raises.
What exactly is Wavn?
A working partner. You say what you are deciding or what you need made, and Wavn does the work and hands back the finished thing — spreadsheets, documents, decks, PDFs, pages, researched work. It is not a chat window with a file attachment; the work runs whole in a back room and lands in your chat as files you can open.
How is that different from asking a chatbot?
A chatbot answers and stops. Wavn runs the job end to end — research, build, check — and returns the thing itself, not a description of it. And it is accountable for what it returns: confirmations are written from what actually happened, failures arrive as failures, and Wavn never claims work it did not do.
Which AI model is Wavn using?
Wavn does not say — deliberately. Whatever is doing the work behind the scenes is Wavn's business, and it can change or improve without changing the product you use. You deal with Wavn, one product with one voice, and Wavn answers for the whole. The reasoning is on the architecture page.
Can Wavn read my files? All of them?
Only the ones you put in front of it. Attach a file to a message and Wavn can read that file. Put material in a project and Wavn reads it inside that project only. It does not read material you have not placed, and moving material out of a project takes the access back.
How do I know an answer really came from my documents?
When an answer used your material, a line under it says how much was read and how long it took — and opens to show the exact quoted lines and where in your documents they came from. If nothing in your material covered the question, the line says that.
What happens when Wavn doesn't know something?
It says so. An unknown is drawn as unknown, never as an empty screen or a plausible guess. If Wavn could not read something, it tells you it could not read it. This is enforced in the product's code, not left to good intentions.
Does Wavn make mistakes?
Yes — and it says so under every chat box. Built work gets a checking pass before it reaches you, but even the best are not perfect, and neither is AI. Double check what matters. What Wavn will not do is claim work it has not done, or dress a failure as a success.
If I connect my calendar, what does Wavn see?
For a private calendar: your availability only. Wavn does not receive your event titles at all, so there is nothing to leak — your team can see that you are busy without seeing what you are busy with. And Wavn never edits or deletes an event it did not create.
What is a Wavn address?
An email address you claim at Wavn. Mail from senders you have allowed turns into work — dates become schedule items, requests become builds, questions get answers. Mail from anyone else is refused at the door, after Wavn verifies the message really came from where it claims. Replying from inside Wavn is not built, and Wavn says so.
Can I sign up today?
Wavn is in a private testing phase; access is by invitation. If you have an account, the door is open. If not, ask about access.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is published when the doors open to the public — real numbers, set from the measured cost of real jobs, on the pricing page. Wavn does not put invented numbers on a screen, including that one.
Something looks wrong. What do I do?
Say so in the chat — Wavn would rather admit it could not check than defend a wrong answer. For anything bigger, report a bug or go through the support page.
